Since the Swedish government does not decide to take restrictive measures for the crown virus emergency and thanks to a magnificent sunny day with a temperature between 2 and 4 degrees, we take advantage of it for a new adventure on the road in Viking land. The day is splendid and at 09.15 we are already on the move. After about 50 km, crossing asphalt and dirt roads and meeting a large group of deer, we reach the ruins of the Lemmeströ church, whose construction dates back to around 1200. The place is very picturesque. We make a stop for the inevitable coffee and orange cake. It starts again along mostly unpaved roads for about 50 km. The landscape is very suggestive. The dominant color is green. We reach the Fyledalen nature reserve where we sit comfortably at the tables of the equipped area for lunch. Before departure we take out part of the cake accompanied by the inevitable coffee. It starts in the direction of the east coast. We travel long stretches of wooded area. The off-road route offers unique emotions by alternating lakes, rivers and large green spaces. Finally we arrive near Baskemölla to visit the Tobisborg stenbrott. It is a disused quarry where it is possible to admire a particular rock formation. Here about 500 million years ago the area was the shallows of the sea. The wave movement created waves of sand that over the years petrified giving rise to rock formations unique in the world. Taking the motorbike back after a few kilometers on the coast to visit another very interesting site, the Prästens badka. The priest's bath is a unique volcanic formation located south of the fishing village of Vik. The formation is a so-called sand volcano that formed when water entered a seabed about 500 million years ago. Before the sand hardened completely in stone, the volcanic cone collapsed on itself forming this particular formation. The place is magnificent. The waves break on the rocks giving rise to a wonderful spectacle of nature. Until next time
