on Saturday, 1^st July 2023, BMW Group Classic is inviting all BMW Club members to an exclusive BMW club evening for a special exhibition of 100 Years BMW Motorrad at the BMW Museum in Munich. Admission is free for BMW club members.

The special BMW Club event starts at the Museum at 7.00 pm and will last until 0.00 (midnight). You can expect personal guided tours, discussions with the curator, and of course, food and drink will be provided. If you are arriving by motorcycle, you may park your bike directly in front of the BMW Museum and on the ramp.

Registration for the Museum event is happening very soon. It will open on 10 May via the BMW Club Germany web site (www.bmw-club.de/BMWClub/?module=events). Registration will close on 16 June. The number of participants is limited to 200 persons, so do not delay. Register as soon as you can. 

The celebration continues Sunday, 2 July with the start of the Tour de BMW from Munich to Berlin. The Tour de BMW is from 2 July to 7 July and will take place parallel to the BMW Clubs International Council meeting Pretour. The route will include many interesting stops and sightseeing points along the journey. Participants may ride the entire tour starting at the BMW Museum/BMW Welt or join in along the route.

Registration for the Tour de BMW is also happening very soon. It will open on 10 May via the BMW Club Germany web site (www.bmw-club.de/BMWClub/?module=events). Registration for the Tour de BMW will close on 31 May. Please register as soon as you can. 

Tour de BMW

The Tour de BMW is open to all participants but you must register starting 10 May 2023. 

You may join at the beginning or any point along the route.

The highlights for each day are summarized:

2 July – Start Tour at BMW Museum/BMW Welt after riders form a large “100” with their bikes for photographers. Then proceed to Nürnberg and Museum Silberhorn

3 July – Nürnberg to Bayreuth with welcome coffee at Nürnberg BMW dealer and city tour of Bayreuth

4 July – Bayreuth to Weimar with guided tour and special dinner in Weimar

5 July – Weimar to Dessau with stop at Kyffhäuserdenkmal

6 July – Dessau to Schlepzig with tour of “Hugo Junkers” Museum in Dessau and whiskey tasting at Stork Club Destellierie

7 July – Arrival in Berlin

Details on the individual stops can be found in the attached presentation.

Various route suggestions will be sent out as gpx data beforehand. You can register via the BMW Club Germany web site (www.bmw-club.de/BMWClub/?module=events) starting on 10 May 2023.

Participants can expect a patch, a welcome package from BMW Group Classic, route instructions, and a sticker.

A service car will follow the tour to assist riders.

Accommodations, Meals, and Fees
Accommodations are to be booked and paid by the participants themselves. Lunch and dinner costs are also the responsibility of the individual participants.

Note: There will be an admission fee to the museum at Nürnberg, Dessau, and the whiskey tasting.

Sternfahrt (Rally) at BMW Motorrad Days 2023 — Berlin

At the end of the tour on Friday, 7 July we would like to gather the Tour de BMW riders and other BMW riders at a meeting point near Berlin, and then proceed as a group to the Motorrad Days exhibition grounds in Berlin. BMW Club and Community Management (BCCM) has reserved a special area for BMW club members to enjoy.

Registration for the Sternfahrt is separate from the registration for the Tour de BMW. Sternfahrt registration will end 30 June 2023 on the BMW Club Germany web site (www.bmw-club.de/BMWClub/?module=events). There will be a separate invitation for the Sternfahrt.
